The Madison Literary Club is open only to members (and their guests).
To become a member requires nomination by a current member. Individuals interested in becoming a member should fill out an application form [link] and submit it to the nominator. Applications are reviewed first by the Club’s Executive Committee and then by the full membership. For more information and for the application form, click [here].
Club programming relies heavily on contributions by the membership. By tradition, new members are encouraged to offer their first presentation within two years of joining the Club.
The Club is financed by membership dues. For 2019, the dues are $50.00.

Attend a Madison Literary Club Meeting as a Guest
The Madison Literary Club welcomes guests. Each member may bring up to three guests for a particular meeting, space permitting. Guests are introduced at the beginning of each meeting.

To become a guest, contact any Club member for an invitation. Members inviting guests must inform the Club secretary no less than one week before the meeting that guests will attend.
